Top 5 Theme Parks Apps Performance on iOS in Saudi Arabia: Q3 2023

During the third quarter of 2023, theme park apps on iOS in Saudi Arabia showed varying performance trends. Here’s a detailed look at the top 5 apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Disneyland® Paris saw consistent weekly downloads early in the quarter, peaking at 522 downloads in the last week of June. However, downloads gradually decreased, reaching a low of 165 in the final week of August before slightly recovering to around 234 downloads by the end of September. Active user numbers followed a similar trend, starting at 939 and declining to 659 by the end of the quarter.

Disneyland® experienced a drop in downloads from 250 at the end of June to 52 by the end of September. Weekly active users also decreased from 519 to 317 over the same period. Despite this, there were occasional spikes in revenue, with notable peaks of $39 and $30 in early July and late August, respectively.

Europa-Park & Rulantica had fluctuating download numbers, starting with 138 in late June and dropping to 18 by the end of September. Active users mirrored this pattern, peaking at 180 in early July and falling to 33 by quarter’s end.

My Disney Experience saw a significant revenue spike in late July, reaching $695. This was followed by a decline, with revenue dropping to single digits by the end of September. Downloads also decreased from 171 in late June to just 11 by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a similar downward trend, starting at 329 and ending at 173.

Universal Studios Hollywood™ had relatively stable download numbers early in the quarter, with a peak of 139 in mid-July. However, downloads dropped sharply to single digits by mid-September. Active users also decreased from 134 in late June to 68 by the end of September.
